Happy Pride Month!
At Brooklyn Arts Council, we proudly recognize the profound impact of LGBTQIA+ artists, creatives, and cultural trailblazers. We celebrate their commitment to authenticity and self-expression as they challenge the status quo, create visibility for marginalized communities, and inspire others to embrace their true selves.
Brooklyn is a melting pot of diverse cultures and ideas, and LGBTQIA+ artists play a crucial role in reflecting and shaping our borough’s identity. Their unique perspectives, compelling stories, and diverse experiences enrich the Brooklyn art scene and the arts community at large. They bring vibrant energy to the cultural landscape, reminding us of the power of art to unite, inspire, and transcend traditional boundaries of love, identity, and equality.
From all of us at BAC, we wish you a colorful and liberating Pride!
