Arts Consultancy
You need art where? We can help. Brooklyn Arts Council’s Arts Consultancy works with public agencies, corporate clients, real estate developers, and community groups to place art in public and private spaces, and to create new arts and cultural experiences.
We leverage our vast registry of Brooklyn artists, curatorial and project management expertise, and knowledge of how art and artists can activate challenging spaces. Because of our daily contact with artists across the borough, we bring emerging and mid-career artists to the table who might otherwise be overlooked.
We can help with arts advisement for new projects, art competitions, public art, art for corporate and residential spaces, and much more. Contact us at artconsultant@brooklynartscouncil.org. Clients include the William Vale Hotel, Gateway Center, MetroTech BID, JMH Development, V3 Hotels, and TnT Scrap, LLC.

Dan Funderburgh’s Regarding Connection
Presented by Brooklyn Arts Council’s Arts Consultancy program in partnership with Brookfield Properties
Curated by Brooklyn Arts Council, artist Dan Funderburgh’s larger than life patterned rainbow stretches across the entirety of the lobby at 2 MetroTech Center inviting viewers into a bright, cheerful, yet slightly wobbly world. This vinyl artwork explores the rainbow as a symbol of peace, hope, diversity, and connection. Funderburgh’s playful arch aims to connect viewers, drawing them into the lobby space to collectively celebrate the beautiful diversity all around us and being together as a community once again.
