Help Brooklyn Arts Council evaluate applications for our Community Arts Grants and Creative Equations Fund for the 2022 Grants Cycle. This is a PAID opportunity and your expertise will help support next year's crop of artists in search of a more just and joyful Brooklyn!
Panelists are asked to have some experience as an Artist, Administrator, Consultant, or Curator in the fields of Film, Visual Arts, Performing Arts (Dance, Theater, Music), Literary Arts, Multidisciplinary, Interdisciplinary, or Folk Arts.
And this year, we're welcoming Community Organizers and Social Justice thought leaders to help facilitate our new Creative Equations Fund grants opportunity. The Creative Equations Fund invests in artists and cultural entrepreneurs who’ve dedicated their arts and business models to creating more justice, equity, and sustainability in Brooklyn.
Commitment includes:
Pre-evaluating applications online
Participation in a Zoom discussion as one of a small group of panelists (exact dates in November & December TBD)
