Ogemdi Ude: "Cameo"

Cameo is an interactive installation inspired by Concentration, the children's’ memory card game. Designed as a 2-player card game, Cameo encourages intimate question and answer dialogue between participants and dance improvisation. Cameo challenges participants’ capacity to process, reinvent, and push forward after facing the obstacle of forgetting in the mind and the body. The installation includes interactive projection design and a soundscape by musician Embaci. Cameo will premiere in multiple phases, the first to take place April 22-23, 2023 at Smack Mellon in DUMBO, Brooklyn during DUMBO's annual Open Studio weekend.
