Join Bryce Peterson in Highland Park on August 28th for the debut of his first public artwork: The Hanging Gardens of Brooklyn.
The Hanging Gardens of Brooklyn, an immersive art and ecology installation, will feature a massive sculptural pavilion adorned with a trellised garden ecosystem. The living sculpture is solar powered, self-maintaining, and tuned to its environment. Live sensor data will shape a generative light and sound scape for visitors to enjoy as they relax underneath its lush green canopy. It is my hope that this artwork will inspire us towards new visions for how Brooklyn can become a model of sustainability for NYC and the greater world.
