Essay - September 11 Memorials: Tracing the Traces of Their History

For 2008, the seventh anniversary of the attacks, Turner's project is publication of the following essay and possible responses to it that may be posted on BAC's online Forum (no longer active). Much has been written and documented concerning the ephemeral memorials that filled the city in the wake of destruction and death on that day.
