3RD ANNUAL BROOKLYN FOLK ARTS DAY 2013

November 19, 2013

6:30pm – 9:00pm

Join us for the third annual Brooklyn Folk Arts day! This year’s theme is Collaborations and Partnerships and we’ll be discussing ways to strengthen old partnerships and build new ones as we all work together to preserve and promote traditional arts in Brooklyn. We'll also be saying farewell to BAC's beloved folklorist Dr. Kay Turner at this year's Folk Arts Day.

BAC traditional artists including Rita Silva, Yasser Darwish, Annie Ferdous, Kaina Quenga, and Jason Poole dance together at "Dancing the Waters," part of Harborlore Festival, on June 2, 2013. Photo: Misun Jin
