Our communities, our stories, our ancestors all have effects on our lives that continue to unfold. This five week series for students ages 8-12 explores the stories of social justice seekers who are African American dance makers who celebrate their African heritage. Our goal is to collaborate to create a choreo-poem addressing social justice drawing upon the wisdom of our past and our future.
