Poets Passion, our monthly after-work literary lime, kicks off its 5th season with National Book Award nominee Marlon James. Marlon James first novel, John Crow's Devil 2005 , was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers Prize and was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. His second novel, The Book of Night Women described by one reviewer as... both beautifully written and devastating was published in February 2009. James, a graduate of the University of the West Indies, now lives in the United States, where he is a professor of literature and creative writing at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Presented by Caribbean Cultural Theatre
